I don't know when it was released, I saw a promo picture online yesterday and today I could find it. I bought it in a small beauty supply in Lexington Ave & 62nd St (NY). I didn't see it at Duane Reade or any big drugstore yet.
Stroke of Brilliance is a blue glitter top coat. It has hexagonal glitters and microglitter too.
I made some quick swatches on the nail wheel over different colors.
Over White and Black
Over Deborah Lippmann I know what boys like & Essie Bikini so teeny
Over Essie Off the shoulder, Jelly Sandwich using OPI Don't Touch my Tutu and Alpine Snow, Deborah Lippmann Dancing in the sheets.
Here the jelly sandwich, one coat of Alpine Snow, one coat of glitter, one coat of Don't touch my tutu
I used only one coat of glitter for all the pictures, it's very packed but easy to use! For the promo pictures I saw, I think it's going to replace Shine of the Times (the flakies!!), so if you don't have it, get it while it's still available!!!
Thanks for reading!! And remember to enter my OPI Black Spotted giveaway!!!

I love it in the jelly sandwich and over the black. I can't get over how pretty of a blue the glitters are.

Bienvenida y gracias por tu comentario!
DeleteIs this a dupe to dl's today was a fairytale
ReplyDeleteI just compared them on a nail wheel... the DL has a tinted base but the glitters are silver. The essie has a clear base and the glitters are blue. in the bottle they looked similar, but they are very different on the nails :-) I just upload a picture on twitter and Instagam!
DeleteThanks for your comment :-)
I've seen this in a ton of drug stores in the city in the last week or so, sometimes in the same display as the mirror metallics collection. I stumbled over here from Nouveau Cheap and I am SO EXCITED to find your blog. I have been searching for a great nail polish blogger in NYC!! You can bet I'll be checking in A LOT. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Kiki thanks for youur words!! If you follow me on twitter or instagram, I usually upload pictures of displays, the polishes I buy, etc.... You have to check gotham polish and lacquered lover blogs too!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it in drugstores yet, but I saw some displays of the metallics with as gold as it gets! Maybe they were making room for this new one!!
Thanks for reading!!
