Deborah Lippmann Let's Go Crazy

Hi! I have the new Deborah Lippmann glitter to show you today. Let's Go Crazy has the same multicolor glitter as Happy Birthday, but in a purple jelly base.
I used it over Deborah Lippmann Dark Side of the Moon, but it's opaque on it's own using three coats. I used one coat of Let's Go Crazy over DSOTM for the photos below, the base color it's almost identical.
Hola!

The formula was a little thick, which I expected because of the amount of glitter. That's why I preferred to layer it over another polish. As I said before, you can use it on its own and it's opaque in three coats.
I bought it from Nordstrom during their anniversary sale. It was a Nordstrom exclusive and limited edition at that moment, but now was released as one of the new Fall shades, so you can find it everywhere you buy Deborah Lippmann. Can I say I hate when they do that? As a collector, it's not the same if a polish is LE for an occasion or if it's a regular release. It's beautiful anyway, but it's not a clear message to costumers who rush to buy it thinking it's going to be sold out.

Apart from that, the shade is gorgeous and has a very interesting jewel finish. Of course you can recreate the look making a jelly sandwich, but a dark purple jelly it's not very easy to find (I can only think of the Nfu-Oh Jelly Syrups).
A nice addition to my collection of Happy Birthday (clear), Candy Shop (pink) and Forget you (black).... that I haven't posted yet! Oops!

How do you like it? Have you bought some Limited Edition item that was made permanent collection later? Thanks for reading! And last day to enter and share my Cult Nails giveaway!!!!

  1. I love glitter over a dark base. I would be irate if I purchased a le item and then a company released it as part of their upcoming line. It would almost want to make me boycott their line for at least a while. Especially when it is a higher priced line such as Deborah Lippmann.
