Cult Nails Divas & Drama Part 2: Manipulative & Enticing

Hola! Hoy tengo dos esmaltes más de Cult Nails de la nueva colección Divas & Drama: Manipulative y Enticing. Estos son los últimos que elegi de esta colección, el que falta es Scandalous, un naranja pastel jelly, que lo vi muy intenso para mi estilo, así que no lo compré. En vez de ese, aprovechando la promo, elegí otro de una colección anterior, que les voy a mostrar "pronto".
Hi!! I have today two more polishes from Cults Nails new collection, Divas & Drama: Manipulative and Enticing. These are the rest of the shades I picked from this collection. Scandalous, a "pastel orange jelly" completes the set, but since it's not my kind of color, I didn't buy it and I chose one from a previous collection (coming "soon").

Hola! Hoy tengo para mostrarles un esmalte de la colección nueva de Cult Nails, Divas & Drama. Es mi primera experiencia con la marca y estaba muy entusiasmada por probarlos, siempre leí excelentes comentarios en todos los blogs sobre su fórmula y colores. 

Hi!! Today I have one polish from Cults Nails new collection, Divas & Drama. It's my first experience with the brand and I was very excited to try them, because I have read so many good things about them.

Hace poquito tuvieron una promoción por haber alcanzado 5000 likes en Facebook. Podías comprar hasta 3 esmaltes por $5, que es la mitad del precio normal. Buenisimo!!! Pusieron un limite en la cantidad porque son una marca chica y querian que todas las fans pudieran aprovecharla sin terminar en bancarrota. Yo la sigo a Maria (que empezó como blogger y ahora tiene su marca!!) y es super amable y se nota la dedicación y amor que le pone a estos esmaltes. Además me encanta que muestra sus outfits!

Recently they had a promotion for reaching 5000 likes on Facebook. You could buy three polishes at $5 each, which is half their usual price. How cool is that? They put a limit of three because they are a small brand and they want that every fan could have a chance to enjoy that without being broke. I have to say I follow Maria on Twitter and she's is really nice and you can tell she puts a lot of love in her work. She also shows her outfits!

Yendo a los esmaltes... elegi Cruisin' Nude, que también se los voy a mostrar más adelante, y tres de la nueva colección. Hoy tengo Seduction, que no formó parte de la promoción porque es una edición limitada... pero estoy tan contenta de haberlo pedido!

But going to the polishes... I picked Cruisin' Nude, which I'll review in another post, and three from the new collection. Today I have Seduction, which wasn't a part of the promo because is limited edition. I'm so happy I picked it!! 

Lo usé sobre Kiko 293 porque es bastante translúcido y no me gustó tanto como quedaba solo. El Kiko es el violeta más parecido que tengo al color de base, así que obtuve un color muy parecido al que se ve en la botella de Seduction. Después lo probé sobre un color más oscuro y me gustó más todavía (eso va en el próximo post). 

I used it over Kiko 293 because it's sheer and I didn't like it so much on its own. Kiko is the most similar color I have, so the result was pretty similar to the bottle color of Seduction. however, I tried it later with a darker shade and I liked it even more (next post!)

Todas las fotos son con Deborah Lippmann Hard Rock base coat, una capa de Kiko 293, dos capas de Seduction y una capa de Seche Vite top coat. Les recomiendo que agranden las fotos para que puedan apreciar bien el detalle de los colores!!

All the pictures are with Deborah Lippmann's Hard Rocks base coat, one coat of kiko 293,  two coats of seduction and one coat of seche vite.

Zoya Wednesday comparisons... looking for a dupe!

Hola!! Después de haber usado Zoya Wednesday, tuve que buscar entre mi nueva obsesión colección de turquesas para ver si tenía algo parecido.
Wednesday como ya les conté en su post acá es mucho más verde de lo que me imaginaba por las fotos que había visto.

Hi!! After wearing Wednesday, I had to look among my new obsession collection of acqua blues/turquoise to see if I had anything similar. 
Wednesday, as I told you before here is more green that I expected based on the photos I had seen.

Zoya Wednesday from Beach Collection 2012

Hola!! Hoy les muestro un esmalte de la nueva colección de Zoya para este verano. Está dividida en Beach (todos crèmes menos uno) y Surf (foils).
De la colleción Beach el que más me gustó fue Wednesday, un verde azulado, con un estilo "antiguo".
Hi! Today I have one of the new Zoya just released for this Summer. The collection is divided in Beach (all except one are cremes) and Surf (foils). 
I picked Wednesday from Beach Collection, is a beautiful green with blue undertones, very "vintage". 

En todas las fotos uso/ I'm using for the pictures:
- Essie First Base top coat
- Zoya Wednesday x2

Al sol, el color es un poco más oscuro pero me resultó muy dificil de fotografiar. In sulnlight, the color is a little darker, but I find it very difficult to capture.

Sweet Dreams by Deborah Lippmann... Flakies!

Hola!! Tenía planeado mostrarles otro de los esmaltes de la colección de OPI, pero llegó a mis manos esta nueva creación de Deborah Lippmann y tuve que cambiar de planes! Cuando vean las fotos me van a entender.

Hi!! I was planning to post another polish from the new OPI collection, but then this new Deborah Lippmann arrived and I had to change my plans!! You'll understand me when you see the pictures!!

Sweet Dreams es una fucsia jelly lleno de flakies dorados tornasolados. En su página lo define como holográfico 3D (?), bueno lamentablemente de holo no tiene nada. Pero tampoco para decepcionarse, porque es una locura en las manos. 

Sweet Dreams is an intense fuchsia jelly packed with golden duochrome flakies. On the website is defined as holographic 3D (?), but unfortunately, is not holographic at all. I'm not dissapointed (though an holo would've been awesome), because the polish is simply stunning.

- Una capa de Insta Dri de Sally Hansen

Al sol, se ve como resaltan los flakies con reflejos naranjas sobre la base fucsia. Direct sunlight, the flakies reflect mostly orange and the base color is a bright fuchsia.
